Recycle Milk Jugs at home – possible storage ideas!
Well I always try to recycle whatever I have at hand! Why spend on small storage organisers when you have something at home to use! like why throw off the jug once you have finished the milk – Re-purpose it & turn it into something useful!
So here is the the milk jug that am talking about
Remove the labels so that they look clean:
Now cut them in half and you can re-purpose the top part in your garden. In this post I will tell about how we can use the bottom part.
v Use them as seed starters!
Well once you are just starting to plant some seeds to have beautiful plants at home, use these to save you money. Let the seeds germinate and then transplant them into beautiful tubs. Poke a few holes at the bottom for drainage, add potting soil or seed starting mix, and plant the seeds!
v Use as a storage for your Perfumes
Store all those extra perfume/deo bottles or creams in those and hide them from you sight! As everything is in the container, it’s easy to access them anytime without creating a mess or need to be kept organised.
v Well use that in the bathroom as toothpaste and toothbrush organiser.
v It could become your shower caddy too! And you won’t have to hunt for your things around and as its plastic, it’s easy to clean as well.
v What about storing combs or hair brushes! Doesn’t it look like a place to hold all of those and still be found when you need it!
v It can even be used as a cleaning supply storage container! Store all those extra buys in there or just store the ones that you use daily. Very easy to find the stuff you need while cleaning!
v Ah, at times it’s a task to find the small boxes, bottles or any small stuff. Use it to store all those and you will never lose them again.
This container can be used for a lot of other things and not only the one that I have mentioned! Decorate these using some papers, washi tape or whatever you have access to, to make them look prettier, and they are ready to be used!
